Specialist Construction for Live Beverage Production Facilities

Delivering construction works within a live brewery and beverage manufacturing facility requires more than standard building expertise. Carlsberg Reverse Osmosis Plant Building

Interkey Contracting delivered expert consultancy and turnkey delivery for the construction of a new Reverse Osmosis Plant Building for Carlsberg. Acting as lead contractor, we managed every stage of the project from pre-construction planning and surveys through to design, construction and completion, ensuring the scheme was delivered on programme and to a high industrial specification.

The project involved the design and build of a 20m x 10m x 9m steel-framed structure, complete with insulated cladding and constructed on a deep-piled slab foundation. Groundworks were especially challenging due to the restricted footprint and close proximity to existing infrastructure, requiring a reduced dig excavation strategy and carefully coordinated piling works.

To suit the operational demands of a live beverage production environment, the building incorporated a specialist stainless steel drainage system and a high-performance industrial floor paint system, selected for durability, hygiene and long-term performance. The completed facility provided Carlsberg with a purpose-built processing building capable of supporting critical manufacturing operations.

Despite the engineering and logistical complexity of the scheme, Interkey Contracting completed the project within just 16 weeks, demonstrating our ability to deliver fast-track industrial construction without compromising on safety, quality or programme control.
